Eph 5:15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise,
The word circumspect is from Latin word ” circirpicio” which means , to look around about on all hands; to be very watchful, wary and cautious in order to avoid danger. It denotes discerning the enemies before they come too close.
It means that we have to walk by the rules that God has given us, paying detailed attention to small as well as great matters. It entails extra care in the way we not only conduct ourselves, but also ensure that our actions do not bring risks in the lives of others.
“At such a time as this” , we must live as those who have been taught to understand the heavenly wisdom and who have been made truly wise. ” We must be very careful, then, how we live, not like the unwise, but like the wise, redeeming time, for the days are evil” ( Eph 5:15-16)
