Luk 14:10 “But when you are invited, go and sit down in the lowest place, so that when he who invited you comes he may say to you, ‘Friend, go up higher.’ Then you will have glory in the presence of those who sit at the table with you.
The parable is about being invited to a wedding feast. Some seats are normally reserved for the most important people and other seats for the general public. The most important guests normally arrives last. If one made a mistake of sitting on the seat reserved for the most important guest, the host would have to ask him/her to move to a less honourable seat.
In the same way, the honourable guest who sat in the less honourable seat would be requested to move up and sit at the reserved seats.
Christian friends, God will always honor those who honor him (1Sa 2:30).Regardless of the season, He will always elevate those who are humble to the reserved seats . Your blessings cannot be possessed by any other person!
There is a reserved seat with your name tag on it! This is the time to upgrade and move up higher in creativity, in innovation, in our careers, in our businesses , in prayers and in our relationship with God. Friend, go up higher!
