Ge 8:1 Then God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided.
Gen 8:4 Then the ark rested in the seventh month, the seventeenth day of the month, on the mountains of Ararat.
The waters prevailed upon the earth for one hundred and fifty days. This marked a season of God’s judgment upon the earth. Any living creature outside the ark perished in the floods. Noah and his team who God had shut in the ark were preserved. The ark floated on the waters.
When God remembered Noah and the living creatures in the ark, He made the waters to subsidize. The waters receded continually until the ark rested on the mountains Ararat. This marked a new season for Noah and the living creatures in the ark.
After what it seems like a season of floods washing across the nations, the ark will rest. The ark will rest to mark a new season of restoration. Let our eyes be focused on him who causes the waters to recede. A new season of renewal, revival and restoration is coming our way.
