Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
While in prison,Paul wrote an encouraging letter to Phillipi a fairly young church he had established during his missionary missions in Asia .He cheered them on because of their partnership in the gospel since they first believed.
It’s the admiration of every person that upon ground breaking ceremony ,the work they start won’t go halfway and then stall. This can be as a result of limitation of resources and other factors. But Paul being aware of this truth, encourages them that every good work that God started in them, was to go past dedication ceremony.
As Children of God, we are a work in progress in all aspects of our lives. And because it is God who started it,he will bring it into completion. For God always finishes what he begins . And this is to be done with a fantastic finish, because God, our master builder is the all knowing architect. You can be confident of it!
