1Sa 17:46 “This day the LORD will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
A negative attitude is a disposition, feeling that is not constructive, cooperative or optimistic . You will always come across some people who see everything from a negative perspective. Negative attitude influences the outcome of whatever activities they undertake.
Unlike the Israelites army that felt intimidated by Goliath, David was optimistic that he would immobilize Goliath. As he took a leap of faith to meet Goliath, he gave his heart some positive vibes….” the Lord will deliver me from your hands, I will strike you and take your head from you, and this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air ….”
People with a positive attitude remain hopeful and see the best even in very difficult situations. We must learn to affirm ourselves positively regardless of the challenges we are facing. You may have lost your job, having a difficult boss, relationship breakdown, a bad medical report … You must learn to declare that all shall be well in Jesus name. You will always see the positive side which will help you cope with difficult situations.
