2Sa 23:20-23 Benaiah was the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man from Kabzeel, who had done many deeds. He had killed two lion-like heroes of Moab. He also went down and killed a lion in the midst of a pit on a snowy day. And he killed an Egyptian, a spectacular man. The Egyptian had a spear in his hand;
so he went down to him with a staff, wrested the spear out of the Egyptian’s hand, and killed him with his own spear. These things Benaiah the son of Jehoiada did, and won a name among three mighty men.
Benaiah single handedly killed two lion – like heroes of Moab . He also killed a lion in the midst of a pit on a snowy day. He killed an Egyptian, a spectacular man. The Egyptian had a spear in his hand. So he went down to him with a staff, wrestled the spear out of his hand and killed him using his own spear.
The Bible declares that ” those who know their God shall be strong and do exploits “. ( Dan 11:32b) That is a great promise and this is one of the most courageous Scriptures. Through out the Bible, we see many exploits done by men and women who knew their God.
The Lord is always doing great exploits on the earth through the faith of believers. He is looking for ordinary Christian through whom He can display His extraordinary nature. He wants to do great deeds that bear witness of who He is in our lives.
Heb11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
