Exo 8:18 Now the magicians so worked with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not. So there were lice on man and beast Exo 8:19 Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, “This is the finger of God.” But Pharaoh’s heart grew hard, and he did not heed them, just as the LORD had said.
This was during the third plague – the plague of lice. Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod and struck the dust of the earth and it became lice on man and on beast. All the dust of the earth became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.
The magicians tried the utmost of their skills to produce this insects but they miserably failed. When they found that they could not duplicate the plague, they turned to Pharaoh and declared ” this is the finger of God”. They were now convinced that no man could do this miracles unless God was with him.
When God is with you , no magic, sorcery or witchcraft can bring you down. Your enemies machinations to bring you down or even have you sacked will equally fail. They will amazingly watch you move from one glory to another and eventually declare ” This is the finger of God !”
