Jer 1:5-7 Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you [as My chosen instrument], and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; [and] I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. Then said I, Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am only a youth. But the Lord said to me, Say not, I am only a youth; for you shall go to all to whom I shall send you, and whatever I command you, you shall speak.
These are God’s words when He called Jeremiah into the prophetic assignment. Jeremiah seemed hesitant and even gave some reasons why he was not that qualified for the task. God reminded him that his ministry was ordained while still in his mother’s womb. God knew and sanctified him to be a prophet to the nations.
When we aspire to get into our divine mandate, God promises to be together with us and also to defend His work in us. We should never settle for less even if our current situation dictates otherwise . The nations are waiting for us. Let us never be at home with any form of mediocrity and boldly accept to step out to the area of our calling.
Every believer should go for whatever has their name tag on without fear. When God appoints a man for a task, He avails all the resources and expertise needed to accomplish it. Consequently, He cannot accept any excuse we may make to escape from it. Let us never settle for less for an eagle can not and will never be at home with a chicken. Be the eagle you were designed to be by soaring higher and higher.
