Luk 8:43 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, Luk 8:44 came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched. ( KJV)
Because of her continued bleeding , the Jews law regarded the woman as unclean ceremonially. In her attempt to address the menace, this lady had visited many doctors/ physicians but unfortunately, they had not helped her sort out her issue. In the course of time , all her resources got depleted.
Despite her condition, she came up from behind and touched the border of Jesus garment and immediately her bleeding stopped. This lady demonstrated great faith in Christ . She had faith that if she touched Christ her issue would be sorted out . A faith as deep and unwavering as this woman’s not only earns God’s attention but it also secures His undivided attention
All of us have some issues of some kind. There is hardly a person who cannot relate struggling with something for a long time . Like the woman, we must address those issues by taking calculated risks – Getting them to where Jesus is. True faith arrests God’s attention. When we take our issues to Jesus, they will be sorted out.
