Jo 4:28-30 So the woman left her water pot, and went away into the city, and saith to the people, 29 Come, see a man, who told me all things that ever I did: can this be the Christ? 30 They went out of the city, and were coming to him.
More often , man has been doing things in a bid to achieve greater results. It is the results that will show how successful one has become or not. The story of Jesus and the Samaritans can help us draw vital lessons of life. To begin with, you don’t have to be the high and mighty to reach people. To relate with people , you need to go down to their level.
When the Samaritan woman was impacted , she did not keep quiet but became an evangelist. She went around proclaiming about the man who could help them. More often , we have the solutions but we keep quiet about them because we do not want others to benefit or are not bold enough to mobilise others to get to where there is help.
Today, you may be the man God wants to use to make a difference in peoples’ lives. Don’t become the pain to an already wounded heart but be the balm . Do not remind people of their failures . We have to go to where people are if we want to reach them. We have to identify them, invite them, invest in them and pray for them. Always make deliberate effort to direct them where they can be assisted – at the cross!
