Gal 6:2, it says, “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”
To be in someone’s support system means being available for others when they need us . Why do others need us? They need us due to the fact that life offers so much stressors ;some invited and others uninvited. In such a scenario, we are supposed to offer a listening ear to anyone going through tough times, offering words of encouragement, or simply being that shoulder to lean on.
We may not have all the solutions to our dear ones passing through issues but being present and offering a listening ear can make a big difference in their lives . As we interact with them, it’s important we strive to be kind, compassionate, and non-judgmental. We should approach each person with love and respect, recognizing that we are all imperfect and in need of God’s grace. Let us desist from blame game like the one depicted by Job’s three friends.
Finally, let us pray for God’s guidance and protection in their lives. When we pray for others, we are demonstrating our love and concern for them. It’s important brethren to strive to fulfill the law of Christ by bearing one another’s burdens and being a source of their comfort and strength . By doing so, we form a very strong support system.
