Psa 109:1-5 Be not silent, O God of my praise! For wicked and deceitful mouths are opened against me,speaking against me with lying tongues. They beset me with words of hate, and attack me without cause. In return for my love they accuse me, even as I make prayer for them. So they reward me evil for good, and hatred for my love .
_With a wounded heart and being a public display of scorn. David expounds and reflects a common problem we all experience in the hands of false accusers. He describes the reactions of a man who has been unjustly accused, wrongly treated yet without a cause.
Often times ,we become men under attack from rather unscrupulous persons or once trusted friend. Those who attack become so bitter and obviously not to be trusted. They become deceitful and wicked. They thrive on falsehood and lies , with intentions to upset, afflict and destroy . Perhaps some of us have had this experience. You have been unjustly accused by someone who has deliberately sought to slander you, to besmirch your character, or ruin your reputation .At times we try to remedy the situation, but it has come to a place of hopelessness .
At the valley of false accusations ?worry not, its norm of life . Like David we can stand our ground and request God not to be silent and overturn their expectations. They may curse, but He will bless. When they attack, let them be ashamed, but let your servant rejoice (Psa 109:28). False accusations can’t stand the courtrooms of God.
