Pro 28:1 The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion.
The proverb speaks of a deep fear that properly belongs to the wicked. God sends faintness in the hearts of the wicked , and the sound of a shaken leaf frightens them. They are under God’s displeasure and because they are pricked by intensive guilt consciousness, they become fearful. Guilt is the parent of fear.
The lion is rightly referred to as the king of the jungle. It posses courage and confidence and with a roar it can be heard miles away . The righteous ones are those who trusts in God .They are the ones against who the Lord does not impute iniquity and whose sins are forgiven. God’s goodness and mercies are always following them. God goes ahead of them and behind them; they are as bold as a lion!
Being bold means we can do exploits for the kingdom. When we are bold, we will experience greater faith, live in more anointing and power , preach the gospel and change the world. When we are bold, we will be in a position to put ourselves in situations that most people normally wouldn’t. In essence, boldness is simply moving from inaction to action ( LinkedIn)
