Deu 2:2-3
Then the lord said to me, You have gone around this mountain long enough. Turn northward.
Reading through Exodus and Deuteronomy, one is left wondering; how would an 11 days journey take 40 years. What were they doing in the wilderness for 39 years and 354 days? Moving without making progress is wandering. They were moving around Horeb but not towards Caanan, the promised land. They had a busy pendulous unproductive journey.
If we take a quick scrutiny of our own life, evidence of same predicaments and outcomes can be observed. Occasionally or quite often, we try to make progress but sliding and skidding can’t allow.
Stagnation and wandering can be noted in our finances, marital life, career progression, spiritual life, business endeavor and other aspects of our lives.*
But God be praised ,He won’t allow us to skid forever. He told Moses, turn northwards and soldier on towards your destiny. May the same voice be our portion today. May our north be
Pronounced!
