The Acts 3:7 And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
The Acts 3:8 So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God.
One day at three in the afternoon, Peter and John went to the Jewish temple to pray. There, they met a man crippled from birth. The limbs of any person crippled from birth are always shrunken and deformed. No medicine or operation could ever restore such a deformity ( Applied New Testament Commentary – Thomas Hale)
The cripple expected to get some money from them, but they had none. What they had was the power of God to heal. Peter told the crippled man, ” In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, arise up and walk”. And he took him by the right hand and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. To everyone’s surprise the crippled man started leaping up and down and praising the Lord.
Today you could be cast down, weak and limping financially, relationship wise, healthwise, emotionally and without hope. Jesus has complete power and authority to heal, give strength and restore. Let us lift our eyes to him and by faith receive our healing. Jer 30:7 For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord.
