Eph1:13 -14 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
We live in a world filled with uncertainty and instability. As believers in Christ Jesus, we have a divine assurance- the seal of preservation from heaven. This is not a physical mark but a spiritual reality that secures us in God’s eternal plan.
The moment we accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we are sealed by the Holy Spirit. This seal is a divine confirmation that we belong to Him and guarantees us that He will do to us what He has promised. The Holy Spirit is like a down payment, a deposit, a validating signature on the contract. The presence of the Holy Spirit in us demonstrate the genuineness of our faith, proves that we are His children and secures eternal life for us. (Life Application Bible)
When life’s brings challenges, God’s seal ensures that we are preserved through them. 2Cor.4.8 – 9 “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed”. This means that while trials may come, they cannot break us. This is, because God’s seal of preservation is His promise that He will keep us until the day of redemption. It’s worth noting that no power on earth or hell can break this divine seal. Since we have heaven’s seal of preservation, let us rest in the assurance that we are preserved, protected and destined for glory.
