Luke 23:53 Then he took it down, wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a tomb that was hewn out of the rock, where no one had ever lain before.
On Saturday ,everything seemed quiet. The disciples were bewildered and grieving the death of their master. They felt hopeless that their Master was no more. Most of the religious leaders thought they had gotten rid of their ” Jesus problem “.The devil thought that he had won by crucifying the Son of God. Jesus is silent ,God is silent ,the day seems quiet.
This is an important day ; a day between the struggle and the solution . Let us be aware that God knows that Jesus is in the tomb. There He lays still with the conviction that God will not leave Him.(Acts 2:27)
When the enemy seems to be winning, let’s be aware that God has not abandoned us. Yes, the moment may seem silent but God is working behind the scenes. Our tomorrow is coming , our resurrection is coming, our triumph is on the way. Be still and know that He is God. Good news is on the way. The stings of death will be rendered powerless.
Is the enemy rejoicing over your down fall? Beyond the crucifixion, there is resurrection. The saviour who died ,will rise again. You will also be a partaker of good things that come with the resurrection. Yes, rejoice my beloved, it will not be silent forever. The resurrection morning is coming!
