Pro 19:21 (NKJV) βThere are many plans in a manβs heart, nevertheless the Lordβs counselβthat will stand.β
Life is full of ambitions and carefully crafted plans, but Scripture reminds us that only Godβs will prevails. Men may scheme and circumstances may shift, yet if God has purposed it, no power can stop it. Josephβs story proves thisβthough betrayed and imprisoned, the dream God gave him was fulfilled in due season (Gen 50:20).
Davidβs life also reflects this truth. Though overlooked by his father and hunted by Saul, he still became the king God had chosen (1 Sam 16:13; 2 Sam 5:3). In the New Testament, Paul longed to preach in Asia, but the Spirit redirected him to Macedonia (Acts 16:6β10). When it is Godβs will, He opens doors no man can shut (Rev 3:8).
This truth should give us peace. We need not fear delays or rejection when walking in Godβs purpose. Romans 8:28 assures us that all things work together for good to those who love Him. If it is His will, it will happen in His way and timing. Our role is to trust, obey, and align with His plan.
