1 John 4:4 βYou are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.β
Goliath looked impossible to defeat, yet David saw him differently. He wasnβt focused on the size of the giant but on the greatness of the God within him. Davidβs courage flowed from his confidence in Godβs presence, not his own ability. When we understand who lives in us, giants stop being threats and become opportunities for God to reveal His strength.
Giants come in many formsβfear, sickness, financial strain, emotional battles. They intimidate and exaggerate their power. But Scripture shows again and again that God empowers His people beyond their natural limits. Gideon won with a small army (Jdg 7:7). Jehoshaphat won through worship (2Ch 20:17). Paul discovered strength in weakness (2Co 12:9). The lesson is clear: your giant is never bigger than your God.
Today, face your challenges with the confidence that God is within you. His Spirit strengthens, guides, and shields you. Donβt measure your situation by your abilityβmeasure it by His greatness. Like David, speak victory before the battle begins, because the God inside you is greater than anything standing before you.
