Psa 34:19 “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.”
Being righteous does not exempt us from trouble; it often attracts it. The enemy fights hardest against those who are walking in purpose. But God makes a powerful promise here: although the battles are many, not one of them will be allowed to defeat you. Faith does not cancel the fight—it secures the outcome.
Faith gives you standing in the middle of the storm. It does not mean you will not face sickness, opposition, delay, or attack, but it means none of these can have the final word. Just as David still had to face Goliath, and Daniel still entered the lions’ den, the righteous still go through trials—but they go through them with God. Deliverance is not accidental; it is guaranteed by covenant.
This is the confidence of the believer: every affliction has an expiry date. What rises against you will fall before you because the Lord Himself stands for you. You may be surrounded, pressed, and tested, but you will not be crushed. Faith anchors you to a God who never loses a battle, and therefore, neither will you.
