Jer 33:3 (NKJV) β βCall to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.β
This verse was spoken while Jeremiah was in prison and Jerusalem was under siege. Everything visible suggested abandonment, yet God issued an invitation to conversation. βCall to Meβ reveals that heaven is not silent; it is accessible. God does not merely tolerate prayerβHe initiates it. This verse is heavenβs open line, a standing invitation to connect with divine wisdom.
God reveals βgreat and mighty thingsβ not to the curious, but to the connected. The Hebrew word bΔtsΓ»rΓ΄th means hidden or fortified truthsβrealities beyond human discovery. Some knowledge can be studied, but divine mysteries must be received. When we call, God does more than answer; He reveals.
This changes how we see prayer. Prayer is not a ritual but a divine communication system. It is how finite minds access infinite wisdom. We do not pray to inform God; we pray to align with Him. Heaven is never out of service, and Godβs line is never busy. The tragedy is not unanswered prayer, but unmade calls.
