Pro 27:17 (NKJV) β βAs iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.β
Scripture reveals that who you walk with affects how fast you grow. Association is not neutralβit is directional. The right people sharpen and strengthen you, while the wrong people drain and delay you. Some relationships lift you forward, while others hold you back.God uses aligned relationships to advance purpose, while misaligned ones can slow it down.
The Bible clearly shows the power of association. Elisha grew because he stayed with Elijah. Ruth found destiny by walking with Naomi. David was strengthened by Jonathan. Yet Samson fell through Delilah, and Solomon drifted through wrong alliances. Scripture shows that destiny is shaped by the company we keep.
When God wants to elevate you, He sends the right people. When the enemy wants to hinder you, he also sends the wrong ones. Discernment is therefore vital. Some relationships are seasonal, while others are divine. In Godβs kingdom, your association determines your acceleration.
