Job 3:25 What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me.
The book of job introduce him as blameless and upright man who feared God and shunned evil. But Job was always fearful of known and unknown. Though in prosperity, he thought and dreaded that adversity might come. He feared the loss of property and family; and both of them happened. What he feared most came upon him.
Brethren, living in fear of both the known and unknown is tormenting and can lead to detrimental effects. Fear drives away faith and makes us live in bondage and the yoke of happenings to a point that whatever we fear most ends up taking place. When we fear rejection ,we end up there. When we fear falling sick ,we get hospitalised .Is this a mere premonition? Not at all ,its living in fear.
Get rid of fear and live by faith. “As it is written the just shall live by faith” ( Rom 1:17)
