Exo 4:2 So the LORD said to him, “What is that in your hand?” He said, “A rod.”
Moses saw himself as least qualified and so did not have anything to qualify him for such a great task ahead . In God’s eyes, Moses had everything he needed to use – A rod.
This is the rod that transformed to a serpent and back to a rod, which was lifted up to part the waters of the Red Sea making the Israelites pass through, which was lifted up as Joshua fought the Amalekites to victory and that hit the rock and water gushed out.
Moses would have easily despised what he had, but God used it to transform the course of history.
Today, the Lord is asking us the same question, what is in your hand? Is it a cooking stick, a pen, a chalk stick, a ball, a computer, a phone, a small plot, a diploma? The Lord is ready to use it to propel you to your destiny. All He needs is for us to co-operate with Him. He will transform that which we see as just “a rod” into something great for His glory.
