Joh 20:19 Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.”
This was the most victorious day in the history of Christianity – the resurrection Sunday. But where were his disciples? They were hiding in fear! They had locked the doors of the house for fear of the Jews. But suddenly in a miraculous way, Jesus came and stood among them.
Closed doors doesn’t mean Christ has been locked out. Christ can walk in and out where nobody else can. Jesus entered the room where the disciples were without using the open door. He can enter places totally unreachable for everybody else.
” That’s why it isn’t always necessary to board a plane and rush around the globe to solve a problem. You may not even need to cross the street, phone someone, or send an e-mail. All that is necessary is lifting up your voice and praying to the one who ” rides on the wings of the wind” and he can do it in a moments time.” ( Robert D. Pace – Opening Closed doors)
