2Sa 22:34 He makes my feet like the feet of deer, and sets me on my high places.
The deer referenced here can also be called a gazelle, a graceful, swift and sure footed animal that can confidently climb sheer rocky cliffs without stumbling or falling. In climbing, the deer can place her back feet exactly where her front were , hence needing only two sturdy footrest instead of four. She can scamper across a vertical cliff, unafraid and undeterred by seemingly impassable terrain. ( Got Questions)
Scaling the heights means to achieve a high level of success in a particular activity. David attributed his success not to his own personal effort, hard work, knowledge or knowhow, but to God who made his feet like the feet of a deer and set him on high places!
Every challenge should be our springboard to success. Our labour in life will not be for nothing. He is a God of new opportunities, new grounds to cover, unprecedented blessings and heights that can only be imagined. The Lord will make you a game changer and a barrier breaker. You will climb every wall and come out victoriously in Jesus name!
