Isa 56:3 Let no foreigner who is bound to the Lord say, “The Lord will surely exclude me from his people .” And let no eunuch complain, “I am only a dry tree. ”
The Gentiles and eunuchs were distinctively separated and were not admitted to the same privileges as native Israelites. A foreigner depicts a person born in or coming from a country other than one’s own. He has limited rights and privileges as compared to natives .
But upon possession of legal documents ,access to privileges is granted. “Eunuch ” is an emblem of that which is barren, useless, unfruitful and has no other use except being cutoff. These two external barriers disqualified people from being members of God’s congregation.
But under the new dispensation,God welcomes all believers, without distinction of persons. Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.(Act10:34-35)
Let no one think himself unfit to receive the graces of the Lord: for the Lord will take away all impediments, and will forsake no one who will keep his true religion, and believe in him.(Geneva study Bible)
