However do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven. ( luke 10:20)
Jesus had sent out the seventy two for evangelism. God gave them great success. They returned with joy and said ” even the demons submit to us in your name”(lk.10:17) Indeed even Jesus acknowledges seeing satan fall down like lightening from heaven.
But amidst these great victories, He reminds them of their destiny. After all is said and done, let us not forget our ultimate destination.” Rejoice that your names are written in heaven”. Ensure that you remain focused.
