Acts 9:13, 15
“Lord,” Ananias answered, “I have heard many reports about this man and all the harm he has done to your holy people in Jerusalem. But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel.
On his way to Damascus ,Saul’s conversion chapter was opened in his life. Ananias was sent to go and steer him to Christianity .But based on Saul’s fore reports ,he doubted his conversion .It took God’s personal intervention to assure him that Saul was a transformed person.
There is no soul too hard beyond the hammering power of God’s word ,nor too dark beyond the radiance of his forgiveness . We serve a God who took a man who was zealous in persecuting Christians and gave him a new heart to love and serve Christ.
Dear friend ,God changes people. The reports in the hands of “‘Ananias “‘ is erasable and editable. That hard hearted soul that can do anything to bring you down, parent, spouse, wayward child, colleague… can also change. He captures the hardest of the hearts and causes such to be useful to you and to the kingdom. He transforms sinful , reckless and wretched ones into dependable saints and kingdom warriors.
