26 And as the king of Israel was passing by upon the wall, there cried a woman unto him, saying, Help, my lord, O king. 27 And he said, If Jehovah do not help thee, whence shall I help thee? out of the threshing-floor, or out of the winepress?
Sometimes ago there was an article in the newspaper titled ‘ who will seal the budget hole for us ?’
Times were harder then and it is no different today and it is not getting even better. This is the point the King had reached when approached by the woman while he himself was helpless.
At a time when the world is crying and lamenting about the economic toughness , there seems to be no help. It is at our wit’s end when we become helpless that we can realize that only God has the blueprint for our lives. He only can seal the gaping budget hole in our economy. The many gimmicks people are trying cannot help. One of the most viable options is to turn to God for divine intervention.
