Job 6:2 Oh that my grief were throughly weighed, and my calamity laid in the balances together!
These were words uttered by Job at the height of his despair. As his friends came to console him, he could not see how they could understand his situation. I can picture him questioning… What do you know? How can you understand the pain I am going through?
In his mind, it was too much to bear; too overwhelming for any of his friends to comprehend. In other words , it was too heavy that it could have been weighed in a balance.
Friends, what we sometimes go through may be too much for us to bear or even those closest to us to understand. Sometimes, we feel like stopping and giving up. But however difficult the situation , it is not beyond God. He alone knows what we go through and he promises never to leave us or forsake us.
Isa 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.
