Acts 8:9 (KJV) But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:
The story of Simon the Sorcerer appears a comical drama but portrays the sad state of many people. The best place to see this is in the social media where people splash their “classy lifestyle” all over. Unfortunately on the ground, things are different and many don’t want to admit. Simon had amazed many with his witchcraft for a long time to a point they had ascribed him a high title ‘Great Power ‘
To live a lie is to live in a way that is dishonest. One pretends to be something or somebody that he/she is not. Many people do this to impress or even take advantage of others. Satan is a super actor. His servants also disguise themselves as the angels of light. Jesus said that you will know them by their fruits. Don’t be deceived by the way they talk or dress. They are pretenders, imposters and not real.
The only true Great Power to be revered is YHWH. Let no mortal think more highly than he ought to after all the day of reckoning will come . Don’t be deceived by false prophets, palm readers, magicians and sorcerers . Don’t also be intimidated by imposters who act and pretend to be who they are not. Their aim is to deceive others and especially for fraudulent gain. Always endeavor to be real .
