Jos 6:3 And you must go around the city, all you men of war circling the city once. You must do this for six days.
God instructed Joshua and the Israelites to march around the walls of Jericho for six days without seeing any immediate signs of progress. Imagine being one of those soldiers, faithfully walking day after day, wondering if anything would actually happen. Sometimes, God asks us to do things that seem pointless or don’t make sense to us at the moment. But just because we don’t see immediate results doesn’t mean that nothing is happening. It requires faith to obey God even when we don’t see the outcome.
God’s timing is perfect. Sometimes we want things to happen overnight, but God’s plans unfold according to His timeline, not ours. There is a reason behind every delay and every period of waiting. It’s easy to become discouraged and want to quit. But remember, “It won’t happen overnight, but if you quit, it won’t happen at all.”
Brethren, we are all on a journey, and there will be times when it feels like we’re circling the walls of Jericho in our own lives. We may not see immediate results, but remember, the promise is in the process. Don’t give up. Keep moving forward in faith and obedience. It won’t happen overnight, but if you quit, it won’t happen at all.Trust in God’s perfect timing, remain persistent in your faith, and you will see the walls in your life come down.
