1 Sam 13:22,14:13-14
So it came about on the day of battle that there was neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the people who were with Saul and Jonathan, but they were found with Saul and with his son Jonathan.
And Jonathan climbed up on his hands and on his feet, and his armour bearer after him. And the Philistines fell before Jonathan, and his armour bearer killed some after him. And about twenty men fell in that first attack which Jonathan and his armour bearer made, within about half an acre of land, which a yoke of oxen might plow.
Israel was devoid of fighting options due to deficiency of weapons .Jonathan and his armour bearer went past the limitations and decided to attack their enemies with the scanty weapons they had and conquered their enemies beyond believe.
We all experience obstacles on our daily course of action. Some proof too hard to crack, destabilizing our ground. At times we run out of option for the next action but keen analysis of situations always proof an opening for exit .Obstacles aren’t true friends ,but they form part of our growth promoters. Though they are mind stressers ,they stretch the mind to look for options.*Fighting or flight, self readjustment to accommodate, budgetary cuts ,letting go ,learning to ignore are among available options when obstacles stand on the way.
