Jdg 6:12 And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him, and said to him, “The LORD is with you, you mighty man of valor!”
The Israelites had been terrorized by the Midianites, Amalekites and other Eastern peoples. They camped in their land, ruined their crops all the way to Gaza and did not spare a living thing for Israel, neither sheep nor cattle nor donkeys. In this particular occasion, Gedion is threshing wheat in a winepress to keep it from the Midianites. It is from this hideout that the angel of the lord addresses him as ” the mighty warrior.”
Christian friend, you have the capacity to develop , succeed and become somebody influential . You carry a seed of greatness in you. You are not what you or your friends have always thought you are. You have a lot of potential. You are who God says you are ; mighty warrior!
