Pro 16:9 (NKJV) β βA manβs heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.β
Life often confronts us with uncertainties, where predictions and plans seem secure yet fail. But Scripture reminds us that Godβs guiding hand goes far beyond human foresight. We may calculate outcomes, set strategies, and project our future, but it is the Lord who faithfully orders our steps.
Israel at the Red Sea could not predict the parting waters, nor could the widow in Zarephath foresee unending oil and flour. Human reasoning is limited, but Godβs guidance is boundless. Isa 55:9 declares, βFor as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.β
Godβs guidance brings peace in confusion, direction in uncertainty, and victory where logic sees none. When Paul was hindered from going to Asia (Acts 16:6β10), the Spirit redirected him to Macedonia, birthing a greater mission field. Predictions may fail, but divine direction never falters.
Therefore, walk in trust rather than in anxiety. Surrender your limited foresight to the One whose wisdom is infinite. Remember Psa 32:8: βI will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.β
