2Ch 20:12 O our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power
face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon you.
King Jehoshaphat was faced with a vast army attacking him from Moab and Ammon.
Instead of him looking for a treaty with the enemy, he stayed true to his calling and sought for help from the Lord.
In his prayer, we see a leader who was honest in recognizing his weaknesses and confessing them to God, showing his vulnerability among his people.
We have to profess our entire dependence upon God for deliverance. The less we depend upon ourselves the more our dependence is on God and the more certainly will help come from .
Psa 121:1 I will lift up my eyes to the hills– From whence comes my help?
Psa 121:2 My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.
