Then she went and filled the skin with water, and gave the lad a drink.<\/p>\n<p>When Hagar and Ishmael ran out of water, Ishmael almost died. Overwhelmed with grief,  Hagar placed him in the shadow of one of the shrubs and then went about a bowshot away &#8211; just far enough to avoid hearing his voice as he lay dying.<\/p>\n<p>Though Hagar may not have known that where there is a large vegetation in the desert there is also a high water table, God opened her eyes to the fact that a well of water was nearby. God had providentially directed her wanderings and given her a demonstration of His faithfulness. ( Holman study Bible NKJV Edition)<\/p>\n<p>Like Hagar, you may be currently in great distress. Your provisions may be running out and you may be in the verge of giving up. Don&#8217;t get worried because what you need is within reach. There is a well of water in the covenant of grace.<\/p>\n<p>The same God who opened Hagar&#8217;s eyes is going to open our eyes too and enable us to perceive and partake our blessings.
