Jesus requested that they take away the stone that covered the tomb. Martha, at this point informed Jesus of the stench that would emanate from the grave. Jesus reminded her of what He had told her a while ago( Jn 11:23-25),  that she would see the glory of God.<\/p>\n<p>What was happening with Martha also happened to the disciples. Jesus told them many things but they could not remember some of them. It was until after His death and resurrection that they remembered some of the things He had told them.( Mat 26:75, Luk 22:61, Acts 11:16)<\/p>\n<p>Christ is still reminding us of the many things He has been telling us for quite a while which we appear to have forgotten. He is reminding us what he has said about our health (Isa 57:18 ), provisions ( Isa 58:11 ), worries and anxieties (Psa 55:22 ),  our families (Psa 112:2 ) .<\/p>\n<p>He is also reminding us of the many things he has spoken to us individually .
