{"id":1884,"date":"2020-08-11T05:26:35","date_gmt":"2020-08-11T05:26:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pastoralcarecenter.org\/newsletter\/wordpress\/?p=1884"},"modified":"2020-08-11T05:26:35","modified_gmt":"2020-08-11T05:26:35","slug":"ever-near-god","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pastoralcarecenter.org\/newsletter\/wordpress\/2020\/08\/11\/ever-near-god\/","title":{"rendered":"EVER NEAR GOD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Deu 4:7 What other nation is so great as to have their gods near them the way the Lord our God is near us whenever we pray to him?<\/p>\n<p>Before  the Israelites crossover to  the promised land ,Moses took them through the great deeds of the Lord before his death .He reminded them of how God fought their battles and came to their aid every time there was a looming threat from their enemies. He was very near. <\/p>\n<p> We&#8217;ve been grafted to the   rootstock of this great nation through the blood of Jesus .<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes as we go through life, we may begin to feel as if God is absent, uninvolved, unhelpful, or that He doesn\u2019t care. We might feel as if our prayers bounce off the ceiling. we might be tempted to think that God blesses others but not us. We might come to a  false conclusion that God isn\u2019t at work in our lives at all. <\/p>\n<p>This is  sad, not biblical and a dangerous place to be spiritually.  It is a direct attack against the very nature and heart of God Who loves us so dearly .<\/p>\n<p>  The Lord who was so near to them whenever they prayed  is our lord,our rock and our savior. Unlike the gods of the other nations,<br \/>\nHe isn&#8217;t far away , asleep or gone for a journey but very close to us. We can feel His presence in our lives.
