The children of Israel  faced a lot of disgrace during the four hundred years they were slaves in Egypt. They were accustomed to hard labour, were beaten up, killed and treated badly.<\/p>\n<p>In the wilderness, things were not very good for them. They faced scarcity basically in all areas, fiery snakes, frequent battles and temptation of all kinds.<\/p>\n<p>Behold , a time of putting behind all that and starting afresh was at hand. God told Joshua,  &#8221; This day I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt .&#8221; The people would now enter the promised land and leave behind the disgrace of past.<\/p>\n<p>As it was in the days of old, God is rolling away our disgrace. It could be sickness (Mat 4:23  ), hunger ( Eze 36:30), barrenness ( Gen 30:23,Isa 4:1, Luk 1:25), widowhood ( Isa 54:4) or even the injuries and problems from the enemies ( lam 5:1-3, Neh 1:3)<\/p>\n<p>Today, if you are facing any situation of shame and disgrace, do not despair.
