Mat 1:22 Now all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: Mat 1:23 “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”<\/p>\n
The quoted prophecy was delivered about 740 years before Christ. It is recorded in Isa 7:14. There are many prophesies delivered in the Old Testament that talks about the divine birth of Christ. The occurrence was not natural but supernatural; it was a divine fulfilment . Emanuel, the name given to our savior manifest his divinity – ” God – is – with – us”<\/p>\n
Christian friends, God is with us! He has been with us during the most difficult season of our lives . Deu 31:6 “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”<\/p>\n
