Sennacherib intended to demolish all the cities of Judah and take off with whatever plunder he could seize.<\/p>\n<p>Hezekiah organized his army thoroughly , called the people together and reminded them that Assyria was no match for the strength of Yahweh. 2Ch 32:7 &#8220;Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid nor dismayed before the king of Assyria, nor before all the multitude that is with him; for there are more with us than with him&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The people were strengthened by this words. He encouraged his people to depend upon God in this distress.<\/p>\n<p>Dear friend, allow the word of God to encourage you today.
