Look, I have given into your hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land. Begin to possess it, and engage him in battle.<\/p>\n<p>After Yahweh disallowed the Israelites not to meddle with the territories of the Moabites and Ammorites  because of historical reasons, he eventually commissioned them to seize  Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon and his land.<\/p>\n<p>Although God gave them this land to possess and assured them that the land was going to be theirs, they had to engage the enemy in a battle. He had already promised that when they fight, he would fight for them. God would dispirit the enemy and magnify the Israelites and so terrify their enemies.<\/p>\n<p>Brethren, we must endeavor to get what God has given us. It is time to begin to possess everything that has your name tag on it. It may be your healing, a piece of land or even a promotion. The devil will not hand it over to  willingly , we must engage him in battle.
