He must have realized that it  was not his fighting skills that helped him subdue his enemies. Although he was surrounded by death on every side, God armed  him with  strength for battle.<\/p>\n<p>The danger from which he was delivered was great and threatening. On one side,  Philistines hated him and were all out hunting for him with the soul purpose of eliminating him. On the other side, Saul was vigorously and violently  tracking him. But God subdued all those who rose against him.<\/p>\n<p>Christian friends, it is God who arm&#8217;s us with the strength for battle.  Pro 21:31 The horse is prepared for the day of the battle, but deliverance is of the Lord.
