Proverbs 19:2
\nIt is not good to have zeal without knowledge, nor to be hasty and miss the way.(NIV)<\/p>\n
Have you ever made a hurried decision, one that you did not take the time to think through carefully?
\nHave you ever set out to go in a direction that you did not take time to seek God, seek counsel from godly men and women?How were the results?<\/p>\n
It is not good (Pleasant, agreeable, advisable) for us to be without knowledge. Making a hasty decision will result in a wrong direction and a painful conclusion to a situation.We take off in this direction with great expectations only to arrive with our hopes crushed by the problems we should have seen before we left.<\/p>\n
The word knowledge here means; to have foreknowledge, discernment. This is the wisdom of looking into a decision and seeing ahead, what it will lead to in the end <\/p>\n
Are you about to make a major decision that will affect your life; be it in business ventures, careers, education, marriage, associates and fellowships? Then don\u2019t be in a hurry. Prayerfully involve God in the decision.<\/p>\n
