God has graciously granted every person a spiritual gift in order to edify and build each other. Unfortunately, many gifts remain unidentified and therefore unused .<\/p>\n<p>Paul exhorted Timothy to fan into flame the gift of God that was resident in him. He knew that if that gift remained inactive, his ministry would also be ineffective. A call to stir up did not mean that Timothy had let the &#8221; fire to go cold &#8221; but it was a call to avoid sluggishness and remain vibrant.<\/p>\n<p>Every believer has been given the necessary spiritual and natural gifts to do the works of God. We have an obligation of keeping them alive ; keeping the flame burning.
