A manger is a trough where animals eat from. After they have their fill, it contain  mixed leftovers of various feedstuffs ,roughage and concentrates  with no pleasing aroma. Its a lowly  dirty place.<\/p>\n<p>Jesus chose to identify himself with the scum of the society, the humble, the insignificant, the poor people of the earth .But upon His death on the cross ,His position shifted to the throne on the right hand of God.
