This must have gone beyond his fondest wish of reestablishing his fellowship at a different level with God. Although Job knew so much about God by way of hearing , the current experience was different.<\/p>\n<p>By confessing that now he had seen God, he meant that now he had experienced God&#8217;s presence and understood him better. God had revealed himself to him at a personal level. The previous consciousness of God through what he had heard about him was not enough. He now had the privilege of of knowing him by both the &#8220;ear and the eye&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s true that faith comes by hearing. But faith is taken to a higher level when God reveals himself to us at a personal level. When God reveals himself to us , our views of him becomes more clear and distinct. We are able to discern and articulate his mind and will for our lives.
