It’s a humbling experience to meet someone of a ” high standing ” in the society performing daily chores that are performed by the “lowest of the low”. Christ, voluntarily emptied himself from all divine qualities and became fully man…He took the nature of a servant in order to redeem mankind.<\/p>\n
Christ did not not only take the nature of a man but he made himself lower than that. He allowed himself to be killed on the cross like a criminal. The Romans used to crucify only the worst of the criminals on crosses. There was nothing lower than a crucified criminal. Yet Christ came from the highest position and put himself in the lowest position. ( Applied New Testament Commentary, Thomas Hale)<\/p>\n
You could be at your lowest point today… rock bottom.., but a time for your exaltation is coming
\n1Sa 2:8 He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the beggar from the ash heap, To set them among princes and make them inherit the throne of glory. “For the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, and He has set the world upon them.<\/p>\n
